Daniel joined Qatalyst in April of 2017. Prior to joining Qatalyst, Daniel was in the Technology Investment Banking group at BofA Merrill Lynch in Palo Alto, California focusing on both strategic and corporate finance advisory for technology clients.

Daniel’s strategic advisory experience includes Slack’s $29.2B sale to Salesforce, Hellman & Friedman’s $11.0B acquisition of Ultimate Software, Cavium’s $6.7B sale to Marvell, Cornerstone OnDemand’s $5.2B sale to Clearlake, Verizon’s $4.5B acquisition of Yahoo’s core business, Renesas’ $3.2B acquisition of Intersil, Fitbit’s $2.1B sale to Google, Workfront’s $1.5B sale to Adobe, Glassdoor’s $1.2B sale to Recruit, NGINX’s $670M sale to F5 Networks, Luxtera’s $660M sale to Cisco, Zoox’s sale to Amazon, Conga’s sale to Apttus, Relativity on its strategic investment by Silver Lake, Datorama’s sale to Salesforce, Semantic Machine’s sale to Microsoft and multiple divestitures for Progress Software. He has also advised on corporate finance advisory assignments for Cypress Semiconductor, inContact, InfoBlox, Intermolecular, Violin Memory and MakeMyTrip.

Daniel grew up in Los Angeles, California and graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of San Diego.
